"YORKIE DOODLE DANDY"

Bill Wynne and his present day pet Yorkshire terrier will present a program about a Yorkie called Smoky who entertained troops during World War II.
Smoky was found in the Jungles of New Guinea in 1944. Bill Wynne bought her for $6.44 American and taught her many tricks. Join us as Mr. Wynne tells Smokey’s incredible story. Call 419-433-5009 or email to register. |
GET SPOTTED AT YOUR LIBRARY!
Our summer reading mascot, Detective Dan, is still begging for attention! Stop in the library and take a guess where Detective Dan has been. All correct entries will be entered into a weekly drawing for a prize. This 3-week contest, beginning October 7 and ending October 26, is for children Kindergarten – 4th grade. One entry per week! Has he finally found the perfect SPOT? |

MARLEY AND ME BOOK DISCUSSION

Author John Grogan will be speaking at the Sandusky State Theatre on Thursday, November 1, through the courtesy of the Norbert A. and Marion Cleaveland Lange Trust of Sandusky Library. The author visit is free and open to the public. Tickets will not be required for this event. Mr. Grogan will discuss his book, answer questions, and autograph books. |

THURSDAY NIGHT THEATRE GOES TO THE DOGS

This movie has been rated G by the MPAA and runtime is 101 minutes. Refreshments will be available for a nominal fee from the Teen Library Council.
Children 7 years old or younger must be accompanied by a caregiver who is at least 12 years old.
